The South Carolina thing to do is get everyone in khakis and a white shirt and take pictures on the beach. One evening we all got in the appropriate attire and headed down to the beach to get some family photos. Our camera was all foggy due to the humid weather and we couldn't get it to focus. Once all of the family photos had been taken on my dad and brother's camera, ours finally cleared. I was able to get a few good shots of Marshall and Scott, I however, didn't make it into any of these photos. I need to get the pictures my dad and brother took of our little family and the ones he took of the whole group. For now, all I have is the pics I took of my two boys in their khaki and white.

"a little behind" (pun completely intended)
We've been a little behind here at the Crawford Family blog. The computer has been broken and we FINALLY got it back from the Geek Squad. I sure am glad we bought the service plan. I'll be trying to get caught up this week. It's a big job since we've been gone for about 3 months. I'll do my best to get this thing caught up. For now, I've posted a few of the exciting and some not so exciting events we've experienced.
Build-a-Bear
We took Marshall to Build-a-Bear for the first time a couple weeks ago. He was a bit overwhelmed with all of his choices at first. He first picked a pink teddy bear. Scott was not going to allow that, so he narrowed down his options. Marshall finally selected a very manly puppy dog (at least it wasn't pink). He had a great time filling his dog with stuffing, washing, brushing, and dressing his dog. When it came time to fill out his dog's birth certificate we asked him what he wanted his name to be. He responded, "Sott." If you ask him what his daddy's name is he says, "Sott." I think it's sweet that he named his Build-a-Bear after his daddy.
While Build-a-Bear was a big hit, the jelly beans from the candy store were an even bigger hit and he has not stopped talking about going downstairs at the mall to get jelly beans. It would have been a whole lot cheaper to just get the kid jelly beans and skip Build-a Bear altogether!
the final selection
