Anyway, I had my first Mother's Day with a baby in my arms this year. It was such a special day. We also dedicated Marshall at church on Sunday, what a great day to do that! Our desire is that Marshall will have a tender heart for the Lord. This was our way of publicly committing to raising him according to biblical principles.
We made sure we had some puffs just in case we needed to distract him. If you know him, you know he is ACTIVE! Being held for any length of time is not his idea of a good time. He would rather be down and exploring. He did pretty well, we only needed to use a few puffs to keep him in our arms. He seemed pretty excited to accept his first Bible (a tiny testament). He reached out and took it from the pastor when it was his turn.
After church we continued our family tradition of lunch at Five Guys. Love their burgers! Marshall was a total champ through lunch. Sunday's are typically hard days because of the lack of a schedule and missed naps. He got a little power nap on the way there and that was exactly what he needed to be a sweet and happy baby during lunch. My family tells me I don't know or appreciate just how good he is, I must admit, he is a good boy and he proved it on Mother's Day!

Happy Belated Mothers Day...I'm with ya on the whole Sunday ordeal~ missed naps don't make for happy babies. Love the dedication pics, what a special day!
