Just checkin' the score.
Marshall rarely watches TV. He really only gets to watch it when Scott quickly checks the score of a game.

Seriously Cute
Tom was out of town and Scott offered to keep ALL the boys so that Staci and I could go shopping (that was seriously nice huh?). I was shocked when I got home and he showed me the pictures he took that evening. He asked Sam and Jack to sit and look at some books while he cleaned up the dinner dishes. Marshall saw his favorite book in Jack's hands and decided to join them. Not only was I surprised that he had them engaged in such an activity, but also that he thought to take pictures of it. Big thanks to Scott for an evening of fun with my sis! I love my boys.
All 3 looking at the camera, that is a major accomplishment.

That must be a REALLY good book.

It wouldn't make me sad...
9 Month Stats
Dr. M is back! Marshall's doctor has been on maternity leave for the last couple of months and we had his nine month appointment on her first day back to work. We LOVE his pediatrician. She's the best! It seems his weight is starting to level out, although he is still quite a big boy. Here are his stats:
weight: 24 pounds 1 ounce- 90th percentile (this is down from the 95th percentile)
length: 29 inches- 75th percentile
head circumference: Dr. M's words "off the charts big." I hope that means he has big brains. :)

Swinging
Big News: Pop and Loni got a swing set!!! Marshall loves it when we go to the park to swing and now he has place to swing right across the street. What a happy boy this makes him. We head down almost every morning to spend some time outside. Once he's a little bigger he'll be able to use all of the other equipment like his big cousins.
Walking down to Pop and Loni's to swing. I think he knows where we're going.

Do they Look Alike?
Many in Scott's family have said that Marshall looks "exactly" like Scott did when he was a baby. We spent some time cleaning through old boxes in the basement this weekend and happened upon some of Scott's baby photos (as well as elementary, middle and high school photos...I won't embarrass him with the middle school photos). Marshall was napping and we just sat in the basement laughing as we went through these photos, report cards, newspaper clippings, and other awards (back to one of his awards in a minute).
As we looked at some baby pictures Scott said, "He doesn't look like me, he's so much cuter than me." Spoken like a true father right? See what you think, does he look like Scott?

This is the picture Scott picked up and said, "No, he does not look like me."

I love this outfit, "Lil' Player!" He is definitely a lil' playa with those knee socks. :)

I can for sure see some Marshall in this photo, especially the shaggy hair. I think Marshall might have a few pounds on him though.

Still laughing. Katie, I am so sorry!

Whoa!!! Let's just say that Scott is forever grateful to his orthodontist.

Back to the award I mentioned...apparently Scott earned the prestigious title of "Kimosabe!" I never knew this until Saturday morning when I came across this certificate, let me just say that I have been calling him "Kimosabe" all weekend. He told me I should probably be calling him "Master Kimosabe." I don't see "master" any where on this certificate. "Kimosabe" it is, notice that the only criteria to become a "Kimosabe" is to have a "safe and fun" ride!
