What is Marshall doing right this minute?

I am guessing it looks a lot like this. You see, it is morning naptime and he decided it was done a little early today. I however, decided that naptime is not yet over. I guess he wins in the sense that he's awake, I win in the sense that he gets to "cry it out" until naptime is oficially over. Oh, the joys.....

Photo Shoot

We used our Christmas money to buy a new camera. It was the SLR one that I have been eyeing for quite some time. Thanks to some generous family members, we had just about enough to buy it after Christmas. (thanks I-Pa and Nana!!!) I did a little photo shoot with Marshall the other day. I am still learning how all of the controls work and how to take good pictures. I have a couple of dvd's to watch and I have done a good bit of reading on digital photography. So.....with that said, I did get a few great pictures of our little guy, I am definitely still a novice, but hopefully the pictures will only get better from here. Enjoy!

On the mend

Marshall is not quite 100% but he has seemed to be feeling better. We went to Greenville today and he held up like a champ. Not only did he hold up well, but he looked ridiculously cute doing it. Check out his very manly pink shirt (I love a man secure enough to wear pink) with the collar "popped!"

*side note: I chopped off all my hair!

21 and RSV

21....that would be pounds! Our big boy went to the doctor today and weighed in at 21 pounds. In his defense, he was weighed with all of his clothes on, including his VERY thick fleece jacket. Well, it wasn't THAT thick, but still, fully clothed for a weigh in?

RSV...that would the doctor's diagnosis. Marshall has been suffering cold like symptoms for a week. He threw up this morning and I decided it was time to see the doctor. She immediately knew what he had. She listened to his lungs and could hear wheezing at the end of each breath he took, all of his other symptoms were indicative of RSV. I feel so sorry for my sick baby. She seems to think we are on the up-swing, she had fully expected his lungs to sound worse than they actually did. Lots more TLC will be headed his way. If you think of it, please say a little prayer for our boy, he's pretty miserable.

Despite not feeling well, he has been such a trooper.

Hat Fashion Show Part 4 (for Mimi)

Scott's grandmother, Mimi, really enjoys the hat fashion shows. I wanted to do one more show for her. I think we are now officially out of hats! Enjoy these pictures of the little guy modeling his last few hats.

This one makes his cheeks look SO thin. ;) I guess nothing can accomplish that impossible task.

He looks so grown up in a baseball cap.

This one looks a bit girly. Oh well!

This hat was a gift from Mimi for Christmas. He's such a cute little puppy!

Such a dorky little hat. For the record, he has never worn this out of the house and he never will.

Scott found this Red Sox hat for him, it's still a little big, but seeing that he is consistently in the 90th percentile for head circumfrence, it should fit him well in no time.

First Cold

Marshall started showing signs of his first little cold a few days ago. It all started with a runny nose, then came the watery eyes and lots of sneezing. He has been getting good rest and a little extra TLC from mom and dad. I hope he starts feeling better soon. The poor little buddy looks so pathetic.
