Peaches n' Cream

Don't you love how creamy and smooth a babies' skin is? I love it! I could kiss these sweet peaches n' cream cheeks all day....and most days.... I do!

Hat Fashion Show Part 3

This child has many hats. Here is another hat fashion show, done simply to kill time. I love being a stay at home mom, but the days can get long sometimes! I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!!!

His camo hat. I think he is day dreaming about going hunting with daddy.

Go Pats!!!

He Loves This Boy

My dad has a special song for each of his grandchildren. By special, I mean he takes an existing song, uses the same tune and changes the words for each child. Marshall's song is to the tune of "Hey There Delilah." I didn't even know my dad knew that song! The words go something like this...."Hey there my Marshall we have waited for so long for you to come...out in the sun. And you have such a handsome face, I'll show you from place to place uh huh. Oh yes I will. Oooooohhhh...you're such a handsome boy, ooohhh, just like a little toy." I think you get the idea. There is more but I honestly don't know all of it...yet. I am sure I will learn.

Scott's dad also has a song that Marshall seemed to enjoy when I-Pa came to visit. While it is not a song specifically designed for Marshall, it is much easier to learn. His song is to the tune of "Macho Man." The words go somehting like this...."I-Pa, I-Pa man. I want to be your I-pa man. I-pa, I-Pa man......(and repeat)" Marshall is looking forward to hearing I-Pa sing the I-Pa song at Christmas time.

We love that both our fathers love this little boy the way they do. Thanks Pop and I-pa for your crazy little songs.

While Marshall doesn't look thrilled about my dad singing to him, he really does love it.

Stay tuned for pics of I-pa singing to Marshall.

Down and Out

Marshall caught his first little "bug." He started running a fever on Sunday and was spitting much more than what is normal for him. The doctor had me bring him in on Monday. Since we were at the doctor, they of course put him on the scale. We have quite the chunky monkey, I guess we already knew that though. His current weight is 17 pound 12 ounces! We will return to the doctor on December 15th for his 4 month appointment. It will be interesting to see what he weighs a couple weeks from now. At this appointment, we will discuss starting him on rice cereal. He has been doing just fine on the "milk diet," but I think he will enjoy a little variety.

He's not feelin' so well.

First Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving and we hope you all did as well. This was an extra special one since it was Marshall's first. We have so much to be thankful for, Marshall was at the top of our list this year! What an awesome blessing we have been given. God is good all the time!

Heading to Pop and Loni's for a big Thanksgiving feast!

So sleepy in daddy's arms.
