first day/last day
Marshall's school year ended at the end of May. He had a great year in Ms. Tanna's two year old class. I took pictures on his last day of school and couldn't help but compare them to the pictures on the first day of school. WOW...how do they change SO much in such a short time? Ugh..I hate it. If I could figure out a way to keep him little I would totally do it. I love this age!

birthday
Marshall's school year started at the beginning of September. That same week a little girl in his class celebrated her birthday. His teachers make a big deal about birthdays with crowns, birthday pins, presents, cupcakes, singing etc. Well...my little guy has a birthday in mid August. Not exactly conducive to a celebration at school with his friends. He has been asking since last September if I could make cupcakes for his class so they could sing "happy birfday" to him. His teacher allowed students with summer birthdays (there were only two) to celebrate the last week of school. He was giddy with excitement and he made a special request for green cupcakes...but of course!

Baby Dedication
I have some major catching up to do. Lots more updates coming soon! But for now, here are a few pictures from Lily's baby dedication which was back on Mother's Day. I am SO far behind. I will be getting this little bloggy blog caught up this weekend, but for now, my children would like to eat breakfast. Enjoy these few pics from our special day with our special girl.

bed head
4 months
Sweet girl will be 5 months soon and I realized I hadn't done her 4 month post. Boy, things sure change with the second baby. We are so lucky that she is an easy baby.
I took her to the doctor last Monday.
4 month stats:
weight: 14 pounds 15.5 ounces (75th percentile) This was Marshall's exact weight at 2 months!
length: 24 inches (50th percentile)
head: don't know exact measurement (60th percentile)
Lily Girl is such a happy little muffin. She rarely cries and almost always greets you with a smile. We love our sweet girl so much and are truly blessed to have her. I really never knew a baby could be so good, she's a keeper for sure.
