"a little behind" (pun completely intended)

We've been a little behind here at the Crawford Family blog. The computer has been broken and we FINALLY got it back from the Geek Squad. I sure am glad we bought the service plan. I'll be trying to get caught up this week. It's a big job since we've been gone for about 3 months. I'll do my best to get this thing caught up. For now, I've posted a few of the exciting and some not so exciting events we've experienced.

he was so proud

He put it together all by himself. And he was very proud.

Build-a-Bear

We took Marshall to Build-a-Bear for the first time a couple weeks ago. He was a bit overwhelmed with all of his choices at first. He first picked a pink teddy bear. Scott was not going to allow that, so he narrowed down his options. Marshall finally selected a very manly puppy dog (at least it wasn't pink). He had a great time filling his dog with stuffing, washing, brushing, and dressing his dog. When it came time to fill out his dog's birth certificate we asked him what he wanted his name to be. He responded, "Sott." If you ask him what his daddy's name is he says, "Sott." I think it's sweet that he named his Build-a-Bear after his daddy.

While Build-a-Bear was a big hit, the jelly beans from the candy store were an even bigger hit and he has not stopped talking about going downstairs at the mall to get jelly beans. It would have been a whole lot cheaper to just get the kid jelly beans and skip Build-a Bear altogether!

denim diaper

Have you seen the Huggies commercials for the "jorts?" Basically, it is a jean/short/diaper. Really it's just a diaper made to look like a jean short. The commercial is hilarious and the tag line is, "You've never looked so cool pooping your pants." Marshall went to Target with Sis (my sister). They came home with a box of these denim diapers.

They look pretty redneck, don't they?
