chasing bubbles

Excuse the jammies that are entirely too tight. They have since been put away with all of the other clothes he has out grown.

Marshall loves bubbles and one evening we went out and let him chase bubbles before bed. He kept trying to eat the bubbles rather than pop them with his hands.

helping dad

One of Marshall's favorite things to do right now is water the garden with Scott. When Scott tells him he is going to water the garden, Marshall runs around the house frantically looking for the closest pair of shoes. When they come in, he proudly tells me, "water corns." (I think it's pretty cute that he calls them "corns," so I don't correct him.) He also started playing in the garden as if it were a sand box, we quickly put a stop to that. We went ahead and purchased a sand box for the back deck. He's been loving it!

hunting eggs

I wasn't sure Marshall would understand the whole egg hunting thing, but he got it and he LOVED it! He knew there were treats in there and he wanted to find as many as he could. My mom put money in some as well but he was more interested in the eggs with candy.

We did enjoy the fun Easter traditions of egg hunts, baskets, and candy. However, my most favorite memory of Easter was asking Marshall, "Why do we have Easter?" He responded very excitedly, "JESUS!" I look forward to the years when he has a better understanding and we can really have little conversations about why JESUS makes Easter so special.

it's been awhile...

We are still alive! We've just been crazy busy with life. Marshall is constantly cracking us up and he is talking all the time! Some of his favorite things to say: "I love oo." "Crawford hug." "No, thank you." "Yes-a please." "A couple treats, please."

When we are driving in the car and he doesn't like the song on the radio he will tell me, "No, thank you, Mommy. Different song." He makes me laugh everyday. He is such a little man.

We had a great Easter. The weather was beautiful and Marshall loved hunting for eggs. He also liked his Easter basket and his gifts from Pop and Loni. What kid doesn't love a few new toys right? I must say, he looked pretty handsome. He knew he looked good too. When I was getting him ready for church, he looked in the mirror and said, "Mo-mo, handsome!" We have no self image problems here. :)

We continued our Easter tradition of putting new shoes in his basket. Truthfully, I am the one that started the tradition with him last year and I love it! He got a new little pair of shoes to wear with his Easter outfit.

This is so Marshall right now...a car in each hand.

This is what we get when we ask him to smile.
if only he were looking at the camera...

Maddie Girl

The Prices adopted sweet Maddie Girl several weeks ago. Since Scott was in Houston for the Baylor game, Marshall and I met them up in Greenville to meet the newest member of the family. It was a beautiful night to be outside and the boys enjoyed running around Falls Park with Maddie. She is a sweet dog and puts up with three crazy boys beautifully.
