buzz lightyear

My sister bought Marshall some new jammies. She knows my boy, nothing makes him happier than new jammies. He especially loved these new Buzz pajamas, they are no ordinary jammies.

They look like your average super hero jammies...

until he lifts his arms and reveals his wings!

He would raise his arms and yell, "ta-da!"

i think i'll keep him around

He even cleans the hardwood floors for me. He's a pretty big help...you know, if you don't count him emptying the ENTIRE tupperware cabinet today.

full circle

Scott and I gave this little blue robe to Sam for Christmas when he was 2. He wore it, Jack wore it, and now the robe has come full circle back to Marshall. There's just something about seeing such a little body in a bathrobe.

the day he got a big treat

As I was getting ready for church Sunday morning Marshall wandered into the bathroom and said, "Mommy, good." I needed to clarify and make sure he was saying what I thought he was saying, "Marshall, you think mommy looks good?" He responded, "yeah."

And this was the day he got a BIG treat.

big boy donut

Well...for Marshall's 18 month birthday we treated him to a donut. And we didn't just do the munchkins this time, he got the whole thing! I think he was pretty happy about it. The whole time he ate it he said, "num num num." This might just bump his weight percentile back up again!

cool kid

Marshall has been loving his sun glasses or any glasses for that matter. Scott has had to make a conscious effort to put his glasses out of reach. Marshall has already done a good bit of damage to them. Anyway, he hasn't quite mastered putting them on by himself but since his response to me helping him is "do it," I guess he'll figure it out on his own.
