Beach
We headed to the beach one evening during our little mini vacation. I got a few cute pictures of Marshall, despite his hatred of sand. What can I say, he's definitely MY boy. I totally understand his feeling toward sand. I HATE it too! I wouldn't be sad if I never had to feel sand again. Even with his shoes one he would freeze up and shake his head "no." We laughed and took pictures...then we picked him up. I had to get a few shots, he looked too handsome not to.
Charleston Children's Museum
While Scott was working...I mean playing in a golf tournament. (Some call that work, others call it play.) I took Marshall to the children's museum in downtown Charleston. We had so much fun playing there. Now I can't wait to take him to the new one that just opened in Greenville. He was too cute in his little smock playing in the water, he climbed all over the toddler gym, and even colored a picture. He's never used markers before and I think it's safe to say that he liked them! They did have a paint station as well, but I thought it best to save that activity for another day. I'm pretty sure we both would have been covered in paint and I really liked the jeans I was wearing.
He loved his first visit to the children's museum.

More than he knows...
I love this boy more than he knows. His little giggle just gets me, I never ever want to forget this sweet sound.

Enough of the Rain
It has been raining for the last five days! We've had enough!!! Marshall has been standing at the front door signing "please" for days. Little guy just wants to go outside and play, I don't think he quite understands why I haven't been taking him out for walks in his car. Today I decided to get out the rain boots and rain coat and just let him play in the rain. We jumped in puddles and splashed and laughed and smiled. He was SO happy and not at all bothered by the rain. To top it all off, an 18 wheeler hauling a bulldozer appeared across the street this morning. We aren't sure what it's for or who it belongs to but Marshall loved sitting on it and exploring near it. Since rain is in the forecast for at least another week, I think we'll be doing a lot more of this.

I just can't get enough of him.
My favorite time of the day is after dinner, when he is bathed and jammied. Mmmmm, I just love to snuggle a sweet smelling baby. On this particular evening he wandered into his closet and found a pair of shoes I bought in a size up so that he could wear them this winter. He got pretty excited about the new shoes and wanted to wear them. It didn't matter that he was wearing footsie pajamas! He then wanted to show daddy his new shoes, well daddy happened to be in the kitchen, the Ritz were still on the counter and he decided maybe he needed a little snack before bed, I agreed.
I just love this sweet face. I'm glad the camera was handy! :)
