Spring will have to wait...
We had a little winter storm last night. It has been the first one this year. I was so excited to take Marhall out in his first snow and see what his reaction would be. He didn't really know what to think, his expression didn't change much. He stared at all that white stuff falling to the ground. We had a great time, Sam and Jack had a snowball fight with Loni and I was able to get a few pictures of all the boys. I say we had a great time, that was until the power went out. Fortunately, Sam happened to have a flashlight at the table with him when it went out and he jumped up and said, "I'm prepared!" He saved the day! (I'll do several snow posts since I have so many pictures both of the snow in progress and the morning after.)

Spring is on its way!
Until yesterday, we have had great weather! I take Marshall out everyday for a walk through the neighborhood and I decided to get a few pictures outside. I can't believe the daffodils have already been in bloom for several weeks. I am pretty sure we didn't see blooms in New Hampshire until at least April. It still feels strange to see flowers in January and February. I wasn't able to get very many shots of Marshall looking at the camera because he was too busy touching the grass and trying to eat sticks! I did get a few good ones and posted some favorites.
Faces of Marshall
I had the camera out and ready to get some good pictures of Marshall last week. He kept giving me the same goofy face. It didn't matter how many times I jumped up or down or how many silly noises or faces I made, he kept sucking his lips in. By the way, tooth number 2 is on its way. He looks like an old man who forgot to put his dentures on in these photos!

Big Boy
Marshall has started using a sippy cup during meals. This has been a little tricky but he's starting to get the hang of it.
Whenever Marshall is in his high chair or exersaucer and we are near by, he spreads his arms out for us to pick him up and hold him. I do feel a little bad when I am trying to do something and can't pick him right up when he holds his arms up to me. It is very cute and it makes us feel good that he wants us to hold him.
