Proud Papa

Apparently to TRULY be a Crawford, you must LOVE basketball. I-Pa and Nana got Marshall his first basketball goal for Christmas in order to instill the love of the game. He hasn't been able to do much with it until this week. I brought out the goal and the balls and let's just say, he TRULY is a Crawford. Scott was oh so proud of his little man. Marshall was amazed at his mad b-ball skills. He cannot yet hit the three's like his daddy, he'll work on that. (FYI: Scott had 7 threes at his game last night! I'm the proud wifey! If he ever called me that, I'd kill him!) Enjoy the pictures of the future Vinnie Johnson.

Spoon

Marshall has been eating solid foods for about two months now. Once he finishes eating I usually let him play with the spoon and empty bowl. For some reason, it was extra fun on this particular day. (warning: His face is completely covered in his lunch, I don't bother to wipe him down until he is done playing with the dirty utensil.)

Fun with a Tongue

I mentioned in a previous post that Marshall has found his tongue and has become quite fond of this new "toy." He constantly has his tongue out of his mouth playing with it. He has also figured out how to blow air through his tongue and thinks the noise he can make is pretty funny. It's definitely not hard to get a picture of him with his tongue out, in fact, it's harder to get a picture of him with his tongue in. It was hard to pick just a few "tongue out" pictures for this post since I have several hundred of them!

licking the last of his sweet potatoes and apples off his bib--crazy boy!

Dad's Home...

and Marshall couldn't be happier! Scott has been out of town the past two weeks for training in Boston. He was able to come home for about one day between the two weeks of travel. He is here to stay and Marshall has been all smiles since his Daddy has been home. I've had a similar facial expression now that he's home too! Let's here it for dads!!!

Okay, so in this picture he was just REALLY enjoying bananas.

New Discoveries

It seems Marshall is always discovering new things. Last week he discovered that he could actually jump in his exersaucer. I have a video that I need to post of this most recent realization. It is so funny to watch because he gets so excited when he jumps. He has been sitting up for almost a month now. I love this beacuse I can now sit in front of him and play with him while looking at his face. We enjoy our play time on the floor so much more now that we can be face-to-face. Yesterday we picked him up at church nursery and it seems in the hour and a half we were gone, he discovered he has a tongue. He hasn't put it away since. I wish he would because he looks a bit ridiculous with his super long tongue hanging out all the time. Perhaps when this novelty wears off we will see less of the ever exciting tongue. I'll try and get a picture of "the tongue" up this week.

realizing he can jump

haha-lookin' good Scooter!!! Scott is going to kill me, but I think this picture is so funny. Marshall and I love you so much babe!

Good Weekend

Scott has been gone on business all week. He got home late Friday night and Marshall and I were ready to see him. Marshall was so happy to see his daddy when he woke up on Saturday morning. Business trips drool, weekends rule! Next weekend will especially rule, I'm going for a massage next Saturday! Hip, hip, hooray. :)

What is Marshall doing right this minute?

I am guessing it looks a lot like this. You see, it is morning naptime and he decided it was done a little early today. I however, decided that naptime is not yet over. I guess he wins in the sense that he's awake, I win in the sense that he gets to "cry it out" until naptime is oficially over. Oh, the joys.....
