More Fall Fun

We went to Denver Downs tonight, it's a farm with a pumpkin patch, hay piles, rope swings, corn maize, and hay ride.. While Marshall was a little too young to enjoy all of the activities, we had fun nonetheless. Despite not having an afternoon nap, he really held up pretty well. We even got to go out to eat with our good friends, Lance and Rachel. Hopefully, this means we are returning to a life with more social activities! Let's hope.

Pictures of My Wiener

Please don't panic. I promise this post is rated G. We took Marshall to several Fall Festivals in the area. He had to wear his Halloween costume, which happens to be a hotdog. I must say, he is the cutest hotdog I have ever seen. We again took lots of pictures! There are more in the "Marshall October" folder. These are just a few of my favorites.

Fun with Mommy and Daddy!

Marshall was in an exceptionally good mood tonight. He was so smiley and happy. Of course we took about 100 pictures. :) I love it when he gets so excited and his arms and legs start going crazy and his little coos get louder and louder. We are having so much fun with him. He changes each week, so neat to watch! Enjoy the smiley pictures, hard to get good ones since he's still a bit of a bobble head.

Oficially Fat!

The doctor had to cancel Marshall's two month appointment on Monday, so we went today. He is a big boy! His stats:

weight: 14 pounds 15.5 ounces (95th percentile-she could have just said, "fat")
length: 23 and a half inches (60th percentile)
head: can't remember the exact measurement, oops! (90th percentile)

Happy Birthday Sam!

Today is our nephew, Sam's birthday. I can't believe he is already four! The time has flown. He is the most fun and I have so enjoyed my time with this special little boy. We are so blessed to live close enough that I can see him and spend time with him frequently.

One quick story about my special little buddy. Scott and I got to watch Sam and Jack on Friday so that Tom and Staci could go on a date. Scott was tucking in Jack and I was tucking in Sam. We had spent a good bit of time reading books, talking, laughing, changing into different pajamas, and really, just procastinating. I told Sam it was time to say prayers and then say goodnight. He said, "Heidi, I think we should pray over there (pointing across the room.)" I thought he was surely delaying bedtime further. I said, "No Sam, we are going to pray right here." His response, "Heidi, I only wanted to kneel." Who am I to tell him that he can't bow on his knees before the Heavenly Father? We both bowed and prayed together. I love this little boy!

Knock Knock

Marshall does this cute little knock when he is waking up and stretching. We have tried to get some good video of this. Watch his little hands and you will see him knock. knock, knocking. Too cute! You'll want to pause the music to hear "the grand finale!"
