Trip to the Zoo

We feel normal! We took Marshall to the zoo today. He didn't actually see much of it, he slept the whole time! It was great to be outside, this is my favorite time of the year. Marshall was such a trooper, we even got to go to Red Robin for lunch. I think we might actually be getting on a schedule! I love getting out, and I think Marshall might like it too!

Daddy and Marshall. This is the only time he was awake. We were heading toward the exit when he woke up. I thought we should get at least one quick picture of his first trip to the zoo.

The boys!

Grandma and Dennis

Grandma and Dennis came to visit Marshall. I think Dennis must have been a little tired.

A Hat Fashion Show

Heidi put some of Marshall's hats on him earlier this week. He liked some better than others.

This one is not so bad.

This one feels pretty good.

I really hate this one.

Finally, it's off. Now could someone please fix my hair.

Fat and Happy

We took Marshall to the doctor for his one month check-up yesterday. It appears he is gaining weight just fine. However, he doesn't seem to be gaining as much in the length department. He weighed in at a whopping 10 pounds 8.5 ounces! That is the 85%ile. He is 21 inches long. A little short, 25%ile. The doctor assures us this is not an indication of adult height. Hopefully he is taller than five feet when he is full grown! All else looks good. He is just short and fat. He is our fat and happy little guy.

Fat and Happy!!!

Fat, but not so happy here!!!

Getting Ready for Church

Marshall is getting better at church each week. We laugh that he can sleep through the loud music, but immediatly cries when the preaching starts. We have decided that next week he will make his debut in nursery.

Check out my shoes! I made sure to wear my Sunday best.

Look at my sweet face.
